This version of the model shows four different painting schemes of aircrafts used by various water bomber operators in CANADA.
Main differences from the fs2000 version are:
- Due to the new modified gestion of model for FS2k2 it is possible now use only one model for both land and float.
- New lights effects.
The AIRCRAFT __________________________
The CL-215 was originally designed in the 1960s in response to criteria established by forestry officials who were looking for a more effective way of delivering water to suppress forest fires. The CL-215 was designed with an internal, 5346-litre (1410-US gallon) water tank system and, most importantly, could reload its tanks through two low-drag water scoops by skimming the surface of a nearby water source.
The CL-215 was powered by two Pratt & Whitney R2800 radial engines that, were well suited to the special demands of firefighting and could be found in great abundance.
The first delivery was in 1969 and 125 aircraft of the type were built in five production series until 1989. CL215 customers can be found in nine countries on four continents. With its amphibious design, the CL-215 proved to be an extremely versatile aircraft and has been used in firefighting, transport (passenger/cargo), search and rescue as well as patrol missions.
MODEL _________________________________
This model for Flight Simulator was created using Flight Simulator Design Studio Pro (FSDS Pro), from Abacus Publications (http://www.abacuspub.com). The model features full moving parts with a realistic rendered motion of the main gear, a nose wheel steering, and pilots in a virtual cockpit.
PANEL _________________________________
Panel is a work from Rolf-Uwe-Hockmuth and it tries to catch the look of the real panel instruments of the aircraft. The bitmap of the panel is based on a photography with superimposed various default gauges and with others coming from various freeware sources. Due too the gauges used in the panel it can be only used with Fs2002/pro version. UWE has devised a method to simulate the increase in weight for the water which is contained in the two tanks for water bombing. He reserved the two central main fuel tanks two host the load of water which can be adjusted from the fuel voice in the aircraft menu (The content of theese tanks are not usable as fuel). A special instrument has been adapted in upper middle of the panel which shows the water contained in the two tanks.

SOUNDS ________________________________
The archive points to default FS2K2 sound files from Chance Vought Corsair. The sound of CL215's engines are very similar to it.
Installation:__________________________
Simply unzip the archive 215CN02F.zip into your main FS2000 directory making sure the "paths" option (use subfolder) is turned on.
